Just a quick status update on the progress of the redesign. It is almost done and should be live sometime within the next week or so.
I haven’t been fixing the links as I have been focusing on getting the new site out the door. In the redesign, all of the videos should be working.

I know I haven’t posted in a while, I have been busy with the site redesign and fixing all the dead links. So, what’s new? Well, first off, let me say that I have got all of your dead link reports and they will be fixed as soon as the redesign is up.
Which brings me to number 2, site redesign. I have been actively working on a new site redesign that I hope you guys will like. Why?, you may ask. Well, first off there were a bunch of background things that needed to be taken care of, secondly, I found that navigating around the site was somewhat clunky, so as a result, I have changed the navigation menus to make it a lot easier to navigate around the site, including easy access to hidden features such as the ability to choose a random episode. Finally, and the thing I am most excited about is the custom flash player! No longer will you see the error “requires firefox” or the message “download movies now” (except maybe with the youku links which are kind of weird :). It is a fantastic player that I am sure you will love!
As those that subscribe to the newsletter know, I said that the redesign should be ready by Tuesday. Unfortunately, it will have to be delayed until sometime within the next week, hopefully before, due to complications with the flash player.
Lastly, after the redesign is complete and fully launched, this blog will no longer be updated as it is too much work for one person to handle! It will still be accessible here.
When the redesign gets released, I want it to be bug free and all the links to be fully active. It is almost here!

First, thanks to everyone who posted in the comments about the dead episode. Second, I have since fixed it along with 2 links to alternate sources. Finally, I would like to apologize for the delay in getting the episode up and then having it die 2 hours later. I was not able to fix it until this afternoon but it should be working now. I usually try to get it up no more than 2 hours after it airs. Again, I apologize for the delay.

Update: I have fixed all the previews that were dead
I have fixed a ton of dead links, but due to the recent problems outlined here with the other flash player, all fixed links have been replaced with the Firefox only video player. You can get firefox at getfirefox.com
In an unfortunate turn of events, the website the hosts the flash player the HMDV uses has gone down. This seems to be the second day in a row that this has happened. At this point, I am going to take the wait and see approach but if things don’t improve by the end of the week, I will be very angry, and I will attempt to find a different video player.
Update: The owner has posted some info on the situation and the flash player should be up within a few days. You can read more here.
